Serving Trays
The dilemma:
You’re getting ready to throw a party. You’ve purchased
ingredients, and you’ve spent all day cooking, cleaning,
decorating…. You’re ready to set the hors d'oeuvres,
but, wait! What do you serve them on? You have 3 or 4 serving
trays but they have winter, and Christmas scenes and it’s
SEPTEMBER! You could put them out on plates but you’ll
need at least 10 of those to fit everything you’ve prepared.
What do you do?
Serving trays are the kind of thing you can never really have
enough of around the house. Serving trays come in a variety
of styles, sizes and designs. The best part is there are serving
trays to not only go with all holiday’s but come in a
plethora of designs from seaside scenes to pets to fruit and
breads. Serving trays can be used not only for serving but are
often decorative pieces in kitchens, on entry hall tables, or
coffee tables. Serving trays don’t just need to sit on
a counter but can be hung on walls to make decorative wall hangings.
The point is you can do many things with a serving tray and
should limit yourself to simply serving delicious food on it!
Types of Serving Trays
Serving trays come in all kinds of varieties and styles. Some
styles include decorative marble, onyx and stone, beautifully
handcrafted and fully polished. These versatile and exquisite
trays provide an elegant drink serving tray, food tray, vanity
tray or unique gift idea for displaying candle collections!
When deciding on what kind of serving tray to purchase consider
what you’ll be using it for. Do you use serving trays
mainly for serving drinks, serving appetizers, or to set on
a coffee table for added decoration? These considerations will
affect what kind of tray to get. Thinking about if liquid droplets
will play into the finish you choose for your serving tray,
or if you’re serving a particular hors d'oeuvre you’ll
want to make sure you get either a big enough tray or you might
know if you can get away with a smaller, more dainty serving
tray.
Whatever your serving needs are a serving tray is more than
a convenient way to present foods to your guest. Serving trays
can be part of the overall ambiance of an event. Finding the
right serving tray is a fun luxury when it comes to entertaining,
whether it’s for a large group of friends and guests or
a small family gathering. The right serving tray will certainly
make an impression.
